Julia C. Purrington, P.E.
Principal Structural Engineer

Julia is a Professional Engineer registered in Colorado, New Mexico and California. She graduated from Duke University with a BSE in structural engineering. With over 10 years practical design experience with both commercial and residential projects, Julia has worked with large national home builders such as Centex homes as well as smaller local design-build firms and architects. She has extensive experience with local and national building codes.

Oliver W. Rice, P.E.
Senior Engineering Manager

Oliver is a Professional Engineer registered in Colorado and South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a BSE in architectural engineering. With over 20 years practical design experience with both commercial and residential projects, Oliver has managed residential structural projects consisting of single family homes to 200,000 sf condominium buildings and commercial projects including veterinarian hospitals to public school buildings.

Audra Fischer, E.I.
Project Manager

Audra is a graduate of Colorado School of Mines with several years of experience designing residential structures. She has worked extensively with single family home builders in the Denver Metro area as well as local building departments. She focuses on value engineering for better structures with economical construction.

Adam Denton, E.I.
Project Engineer

Adam is a graduate from Montana State University, Bozeman. He has a very diverse background with many years of experience on both the construction and structural design sides of the business. This experience helps Adam with the design of creative and cost effective solutions. Adam provides hand-on customer service and effective communication from the smallest garage addition to the largest multi-million dollar custom home.

Office Manager

Terri provides our engineers with invaluable office services as well as scheduling our inspections. Terri is responsible for the day to day operations at PPE from scheduling inspections to accounting functions.

Christopher A. Purrington, P.E.
Principal Civil Engineer

Chris is a Professional Engineer registered in Colorado. He has a BSCE from Northeastern University as well as an MBA from the University of Colorado. With over 15 years of experience, Chris specializes in site design, grading, drainage and erosion control as well as utility planning and design.

Project Manager

Mark is a Professional Engineer registered in Colorado. He has a BSCE from the University of Colorado. He has over 20 years of experience with site development, water and wastewater utility design, construction administration and construction management.

Greg Blount, E.I.
Project Engineer

Greg is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with extensive engineering experience in Colorado and Pennsylvania. He has worked all along the Front Range on projects ranging from small residential designs to large commercial developments. Greg is experienced in all aspects of the land development process from site design and grading to project management and coordination.

Nathan Achziger, MCSE
Engineering Technician/Field Administrator

Nathan is a graduate of Ameriteach with an MCSE. He is our engineering technician assisting in the design and drafting of site and grading plans and septic systems. He has several years of experience in network administration and computer maintenance. He is also one of our field inspectors as well as coordinating all of our inspections.

Kevin Wasli, P.E.
Senior Engineering Manager

Kevin graduated from Walla Walla College in Washington State with a BS in Civil Engineering, emphasis structural engineering. Kevin has a wide variety of experience ranging from the design of large concrete structures to one room residential additions. Kevin has spent a significant part of his career in the field as an inspector, and a field engineer. He enjoys being involved with the project early on and continuing a close relationship with the design team through the construction of the project.

Sara Mickus, E.I.

Project Engineer

Sara graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Architectural Engineering, emphasis in structural engineering. Her experience entails the design and coordination of various projects, including additions to multifaceted custom residences. She enjoys working along with the architects and contractors to develop an adept solution for every situation.
