48 Riverbend Road; Russell Solutions, Basalt, CO (Custom Home)

 

48 Riverbend is a project for which PPE provided Structural and Civil Engineering, including grading and erosion control for a 1041 permit and septic system design and engineering. The structure designed is a wood framed structure on a concrete foundation with a walkout basement. The design of this house was challenging with it's intricate architecture and open layout design. The site sits on the bank of the Roaring Fork River in Basalt, Colorado. We had many site constraints, including a small lot and a hazard area along the steep bank. The architect is O. Johansson Architects in Aspen, CO.

Parkview Townhomes at Sierra Ridge; Centex Homes, Denver Division

 

PPE provided structural engineering with value in mind when we were asked to design these townhomes. The project consists of 6 different building types with over 20 total buildings. We provided Master Framing and Foundation plans as well as lot specific plans for each building. The roof and floor were both framed with pre-manufactured trusses to accommodate a zero threshold entry as well as mechanical routing through the trusses. They were designed on a crawl space foundation, however we are also providing lot specific plans on post-tensioned concrete foundations.
